10分鐘完成免油炸薯條 Chip without deep fry [ SPD4459 Kowloon City District Food and Beverage ]

The previous blogs demonstrated some main dishes, desserts, breakfasts, did you ever try to make these? Today, we will demonstrate chips to you in spd4459 Kowloon City District Food and Beverage Guidebook. Did you ever feel you want some comfort food, however you fear of being fat. Now I am going to show you how to make chips without deep fry, which is much more healthy and easy to learn.


薯條材料 Chips ingredients :
焗薯 Baking potato - 一隻 One
黑胡椒粉 Black pepper powder - 隨意 Optional
甜椒粉 Paprika - 隨意 Optional
鹽 Salt - 少量 Little
牛油/橄欖油 Butter/Olive oil - 少量 Little


小編係好鐘意食薯仔,而每次整薯條都係用美國焗薯,因為煮法可以多好多。

Potato is my love, and every time when I make chips, baking potato is my first choice because it allows various cooking method.




首先就要批皮先,但如果想連皮食既話都可以唔批。跟住就係切條狀,想切薯角或者薯皮既形狀都冇問題架。呢一步好重要,就係一定要用廚房紙抹乾每一條薯條。

First of all, peel the potato, you may save the potato peel if you want. Then cut it into chips, depends on what size you want. This step is important, remember to dry every single chip with kitchen paper.



然後就視乎你既口味,去加甜椒粉同埋黑胡椒粉。呢兩種香料其實都幾濃味,所以鹽只需要少少就足夠。跟住就shake it baby,搖均佢,每條薯條都有粉就可以去下一步啦。

It's up to you to add how many black pepper powder and paprika. Since the flavor of two spice are quite heavy, so just add a little bit of salt. Then, shake it well until each chip wrap up with the powder.



鋪個鍚紙係焗盤,再搽少少牛油或者橄欖油係上面,目的係防止薯條痴底,拎既時候會易好多。然後就將焗爐預熱到210度,焗大約25分鐘,時間同溫度同樣視乎薯條既粗幼。25分鐘之後,將薯條反去另一面,將溫度較去180度,今次焗大約10分鐘。

Put the aluminium foil on the baking plate, basted a little bit of butter/olive oil, it aims to avoid they stick in the plate and easy to take off. Pre-heat the oven into 210 degree and bake for around 25 minutes. Time and temperature depends on how thick of the potato you chop. After 25 minutes, turn the other side of the potato, put into the oven for around 10 minutes for 180 degree.



咁就完成左啦!就係咁簡單!隨自己喜歡,加茄汁或者沙律醬點黎食。好老實講,用焗爐就一定唔會好似油炸既咁脆,反而係少少地煙un。同埋要趁熱食,凍左就唔好味架啦。

Voila, you're done!! Now you can eat the chips with tomato sources or salad sources. To be honest, it won't as crunchy as deep fry, but a bit chewy. Eat when it's still hot.
